Intel Corp. Computational Sciences Lab
The Intel Corporation Computational Science Laboratory (ICCSL) is a dedicated computational research laboratory located within Gonzaga's School of Engineering. The primary focus of this lab is to promote computational research across multiple fields of discipline.
This research laboratory currently contains a computer cluster of over 130 active nodes which can facilitate the calculation of complex problems in parallel within a much shorter period of time compared to the use of independent processors to solve the same problem.
Established in the summer of 2008, the cluster is actively being used by both faculity and students in their research endeavors all hours of the day and night.
The staff of the ICCSL strives to reach out to all the diverse research areas of the campus and offer the ICCSL's capabilities to further academic research and growth. Please contact us to discuss usage opportunties.
Academic Need?
Interested in using the computational cluster for classroom instruction or project research? Please contact either Dr. Gidofalvi x5596, Dr. Bowers x5712, or System Administrator, Jason Schnagl x3534 to discuss usage opportunties.
